I’ve designed a wide variety of digital signs that have been featured at hundreds of conventions and trade shows over the years. The purpose of the signs are to serve as wayfinding as well as provide show attendees with schedules, room details, and other informational verbiage. Every sign is tailored to cater to each clients individual needs and specifications.
At Walker & Dunlop, I’ve produced offering memorandums as well as capital market books to drive business forward within each individual market. I own all areas of the design process from initial prototype to creation to the preparation of final books. These books typically include an extensive analysis of location, financials, and property descriptions.
Orchestrate is a web-based platform in which I aided in the development of the UX/UI functions. Using Sketch App, I helped to defined site functionality, layout design, and overall user interface. The product is used to support the presentation files of speakers taking part in high attendance trade shows. Additionally, I supplied custom site graphics for each and every individual show, using supplied client branding.

I have a great appreciation for hip hop music, so I chose to design television bumpers for the BET Awards. I’ve always enjoyed watching music videos and seeing how musicians chose to visually express their styles, so I wanted to make sure that music video footage was the main element of my bumpers. I spent hours in After Effects altering the videos to create an aesthetically stimulating and exciting unified visual language. Informed by the designs of the bumpers, I decided to further expand on the BET Awards branding, creating tickets, lanyard passes, and signage. The branding is composed of vibrant colors bold typography – creating a bold and attention grabbing aesthetic.
Doctor Sleep, written by Stephen King, is the sequel to his classic book The Shining. I wanted to create an opening title sequence for said sequel. In order to capture a sense of ominous suspense, I decided to venture out to a particularly eerie local cemetery. Capturing a multitude of footage with my iPhone, I focused on composition and texture. I knew that not only was the video footage important, but the music would play a large part too in creating the feel I wanted. I researched a wide range of movie soundtracks and other music before finding a song that embodied the qualities of the story and created a connection to my visual treatment of the imagery. I believe the piece effectively captures the viewers’ attention and holds it through suspense and thrill.
Iron Monk is a Stillwater brewing company. Its founders came to our senior class and asked us to produce a design for a new seasonal beer they had in the works. Their only prompt was a design with bright / summery aesthetic. They told us that the beer would contain a fair amount of hops, so with that information I went to the drawing board, literally. I sketched using Micron pens, and then took that drawing into the computer. I liked how my hops design turned out, so I decided to make an additional two designs for two more hypothetical beer flavors. I made sure that all of my colors accommodated their request for bright colors while also not straying too far from the original colors of the individual ingredients. I wanted the typography to feel lighthearted in order to maintain consistency with my designs.
Through the Intaglio Printmaking process I etched, inked, and ran copper plates through a press in order to created these snake inspired prints.
I made a friend my senior year of college who changed my outlook on the world. I used that experience to inspire this book about stories of international friendships. My goal from the start of this project was to make something that inspired positivity and optimism. I reached out and asked friends and peers to share their stories of international friendships. I prepared a list of questions to send to all sets of friends. I chose to include pictures of each country as well as pictures of the participants. I think that in including everyone’s picture, the readers of the book are able to connect with the stories of the friendships on a deeper level. I chose to execute this idea in the form of a coffee table book because I wanted it to be approachable, easily accessible, and something that could be displayed for years to come.
